The Speed6 will be an '06 model due out in late summer in the U.S. The weight doesn't matter. It will have plenty of power to move the mass and the handling will be otherworldly. You can get some early reviews seaching Google. I can't wait to get one.

There was a Mazdaspeed6 in the Mazda Booth at Hot Import Daze last weekend. I was not impressed at all......It may have more power, but the looks just dont cut it.

I was at the Knoxville Auto show and they had the new MsMx5 and also the black cherry Shinka RX8 .. they said there were supposed to have the Mazdaspeed 6 but due to the huge fire that the plant in japan destroyed almost everything ... so they couldnt get it there .. i remember hearing about a fire that destroyed one of mazdas plants over there but dont know any specifics .. man that Shinka was total hotness

It's relative. I think the Speed6 looks awesome, and slightly better than the Legacy GT. But then I prefer stealth speed, and some walk a different path. I drive fast daily with only my wits (no radar detector for over a decade), and although plain cars get pulled over, my ex-cop brother-in-law says cops eyes are drawn to flashy cars when a family sedan often goes unnoticed. Anyway, I outgrew the boy racer look long ago. I need practical high speed.

looks are weak

but because its a special edition mazda (higher standard) the looks are downright disappointing
