New Mazda Kabura Concept

I wonder what kind of gear ratio they would choose

my best guess is whatever current gear ratio the new MX-5 6-speed manual transmission is running, since its drivetrain is lifted directly from the MX-5.....

Build it with the turboed four and they will come.

Big time.

Right you are. When you realize the new Civic Si has 200hp stock, then you will realize this thing must have at least 200hp stock and cost $20k or less. That is all...

OOOH YEA... if this thing comes to production 75 percent of that stuff is not going to be there and the other 25 percent is going to be adjusted... would be hot when finished

i don't know about you guys...but that steering wheel scares me... (boom07)

they should have used the powerplant from the mazdaspeed 6. something like that should have the balls to back up its style. come on there is still room in that grille for a front mount

From the press release: Power is supplied to Kaburas rear wheels by a 2.0-liter version of Mazdas highly respected MZR DOHC 16-valve engine (we'd respect it more with a turbo, ala MSP6)...

C'mon, build it! The line forms behind me.

The CONCEPT isn't even a reality and you're already calling it a "slow ass p.o.s." You have know clue what a production spec version would do...Have some faith in Mazda...sheesh man...post something worth reading next time...
