Well, a buddy of mine was very impressed by the setup I'm currently running, but not impressed with the OBX manifold. We got to talking about it, and he is thinking about building a tubular log style manifold for our applications. Don't know if this will be anything that happens at this point, or a date set up for anything.

We are getting together tomorrow night and will be brainstorming some things about the build, and I will be using my car as a donor.

He has access to pretty much everything, so materials and machines won't be an issue. I hope to keep everyone posted and from the initial sounds of it, we might have something in the R&D stages and some sort of a mock up within a week or two. We are looking to be able to use multiple flanges for any size turbo application up to TO4E at this point, and after looking at his headers that he built himself, he looks more than capable.

I will keep everyone posted of any progress we make, and once the final product has been built and run by myself on my car, will be applying for Vendor status.

Let us know the $$ range , that'll keep ppls att. if its affordable enough.

No pics of the guys previous work a of yet. I want to keep price on the downlow for now, but to give a ballpark answer, hopefully a little more than an OBX manifold.

Best part, PORT MATCHED to the block!

BIG progress tonight. My buddy went home and straight up burned the midnight oil on this thing, in spite of having gotten 3 hours of sleep and work this morning. He has mocked up the basic layout of the runners and the flanges. We are working on tucking this closer to the radiator as the fan on my car has been removed.

I don't have a camera at this point, but imagine a 4 to 1 exhaust manifold that is very close to the stocker on the car, done all up in tubular style. We still have to master the bend to the turbo flange from the collector, and that will take time for him. EGR should be in place, just need to plasma the hole out near the collector and weld up a flange for the external wastegate.

If all goes well, I should have pics up within the week, but am really wanting to wait until we have a dead set design in place, in case any revisions need to be made..

******* bump. Original deisgn got scrapped. I think this is going to happen. The guy that is building this just showed me a CAD design of what it could be. Reluctant to post pics until there is a solid chunk of metal sitting in front of me. Again, I will keep everyone posted on what comes about. Also have someone else that can copy the design and CNC the flanges, and adaptor flanges for those who want a bigger turbo, without having to buy a new manifold.

Hopefully far superior than the OBX. We are sourcing the T3 flange from the OBX manifold.

can you pm me the cad file of designed , why don't you tell the guy to model something like MAM's many (the horn one) is very easy to copy and much room to move around.

Side Note: don't make it to be close to radiator even though you taking off the fan bc 1- it will heat up radiator too quick 2- ppl want to upgrade to CS radiator which is thicker so need to be more room.

I talked to a couple of people about copying the MAM manifold, and the biggest problem is the steep angle of the collector where the runners meet. So I'm possibly doing something in the works as well... :)

$$$ is the concern so if you can do it aff it;ll be great, i'm looking for t3 many w/ ext wg

Any progress on anything? my obx manifold is a big piece of s*** it just cracked for the 5th time and I'm tired of welding it. i want quality for us t3 guys!
