I put it on with the arrow facing the windshield....and when you say reset ECU..you meaning disconnecting battery?Did you put the new one on the right way? Also, did you reset the ecu after installing it?
here are the codes it shotWhat codes did it show? Are you sure the MAF was the problem? Check the air intake for any rips.
Odd that problems arose AFTER the new maf was put on. Do you still have the old one that you could throw back on for shiggles? I would try that after you reset the ecu and drive (if possible) for at least 30 miles.
yea it idles funny...it will bogg down then rpms will shoot back up to about 1k and then shoot down to about 300-500 rpms....sometimes will shut the engine down.piston sensor... wtf is that? Please give us the codes, and yes did you disconnect the battery when installign the new MAF?
Does it idle funny after the new MAF?
Are you sure you have all the clamps on tight as to no leaks?
Do you have the stock intake?
Do you have a picture of your currently engine bay setup?

all clamps are snugg....
and i have an after market intake. i did nothing more than take the old maf off and replace it. i do hear a slight hissing coming from the filter though,,dont know if that indicates a leak somewhere or not
here are the codes it shot
p0102 Mass or volume air flow circuit low input
P0101 Mass or volume air flow range/perfomance problem
P0121 throttle/petal piston sensor/switch A curcuit
The guy at auto zone said the MAF usually triggers the throttle/petal piston so i went ahead and started there
