New Incentive offer opinions?

I haven't kept up with Mazda incentives in the past, however I'm wondering what the new incentives will be come June 1st.

The current 1.9% / 36 month incentive ends on May 31st. What do you think the new incentives will be?

Better or worse?

With the 08's arriving in August, I'm hopeing for 1.9% with $1k cash back.

Note: I'm not buying the speed. I'm referring to the regular 2.3S.

Incentives usually mean you are dealing with money off the MSRP. IMHO, total rip-off. Never negotiate from MSRP down.

I no longer talk to sales rapers, I mean reps. I only talk to the Fleet Manager when buying a car. Do some research and find the Invoice price, or close to it. Then talk Invoice and up.

I will tell you that the Fleet Manager that I deal with down here, would let a regular 3 go off the lot at $100-200 over invoice.

Just my .02 cents

This is not totally true. When they offer money back, that money comes off the bottom line, not the MSRP. Car manufacturers don't expect to sell cars at MSRP. They know it won't happen unless certains circumstances are met (i.e. low quantity and high demand). When manufacturers offer dealer incentive like 1K off, that allows the dealership to sell the car for under invoice. The manufacturer will give the dealership a rebate in order to move the cars, usually because there is low demand and excessive quantity. So, I'm hopeing there will be some cash incentives next month.

I always start negotiations with the invoice price. If there are manufacturer to dealer incentives, I can usually get a vehicle under invoice. Here's hopeing!!
