Well, You will not believe what kind of power this little beast can make.

Here is the picture of the kit with even a better turbo. An IHI VF24 was used in this car and made 201 WHP at the same 9 psi the GT25R made 178 WHP.

We did hit the boost level of 20 psi, however the Map in the Haltech is maxed becasue we use a 2 Bar MAP that takes only 15 psi of boost and then when using the boost controller from Haltech, the ECU will automatically drop the boost to a safer level. That is why the dyno curve will look with a big drop. Tomorrow we will install a 3 Bar MAP sensor to get the maximum. Here is the video.

Incredible 270 WHP of a 1.6 liter with stock internals. The car has only 1000 miles.

I do wonder though, yes it hit 20psi and put down an unbelievable number. But honestly how long do you think the car can handle that kind of power? BTW, when this guys races he is going to need to go from about a 90mph roll. (bow)

It is being re done at this moment. It will be up and renewed in about two weeks with 1.6, 2.0 Protege kit, the Mazda6 and Mazda3 turbo kit, MSP parts and upgrades , turbos, BOVs etc.

Another video with the Haltech F10X software working hard. Notice the Boost guage hitting 100 % as well as the injectors hitting 100% duty cycle. I guess we need to go for even bigger ones.

Well, the IHI is more expensive than the GT25R, but I think the IHI will be the chosen candidate.

thats not what I hear about price differences between Garrett and IHI turbos. and Garrett just raised thier prices for dealers. maybe your supplier is being less than honest with you?
