Alright guys so I've spectated for some time and decided I'd actually register an account to get my P5 out in the world and also ask some questions from veteran P5 owners. I've had my P5 for 2 years now and I got it as just a credit builder but every time I thought about giving it up I just couldn't seem to let go of all this potential and personality I see in this little wagon. My biggest question is whats the easiest most reliable way to gain power. Turbo builds and KL swaps seem to be the only 2 popular builds. I had an 04 WRX before the protege and I will say the p5 is by far the most comfortable fwd car I've driven. But after having a WRX for a few months I have to be honest, Im missing the power...
What other builds are out there?
Anyone ever try side mounting a miata motor? would brand hoping for a motor be taboo? I know this car is bound for greatness, just not sure which direction to go in. also in MD I get OBD2 tested for emissions so I ruled quite a bit of great possible swaps out already.
