86 Mazda 323 DX Sedan
Hi Everyone, Im new to the forum.

I have a 86 323 DX with 230,000 on it. Im in the process of rebuilding the engine. It has a 89 1.6 in it (my dad swaped it out back in the 90's because he blew up the orginal and wanted hydraulic lifters.)

The engine is already .30 over and was rebuilt maybe 5,000 miles ago with new pistons and the head was rebuilt. (rebuilt becuase #3 Piston lost a nice chunk inside but luckly no wall damage) Anyway it developed a rod knock so i was just wondering the route i can take to rebuild this thing with a little bit more performance but im not looking to turbo it out or go performance crazy.

Thanks :)
