New here with a few Q's and some pics

well first i just want to say hi! i just got an 07 Mazdaspeed 3 and i was just wondering what are the best intakes and BOV for the car? and where to buy them? thanks!

CPE, mazdaspeed and i think injen are just coming out with them now. search around for a group buy. they are supposedly a good improvement over stock with these cars.

as for the BOV, search for that. i dont know which is best. the only brands i know of that have a good rep are greddy and HKS.

Call Tiffany at showcase mazda they are $300 shipped and no tax, best deal so far.

Search about a BOV because I can hear the stock one loud and clear now that the CAI is installed and the comp has adjusted to its new upgrade. A BOV I was told is if you are going to upgrade and increase pressure but other then that you are paying for a different sound of air being blown out of it.

Sorry to hear that. I do know that she is still taking orders and NEVER charges your card til she gets one.

I went with the Injen CAI from Protege garage, and kept the stock bypass valve for driveability, and it's loud enough with the intake installed.

OK, i have the mazdaspeed CIA, i like it and it works great and shouldnt upset the dealer when they see it. On the other hand though i think it is too low to the ground, it is always in the back of my mind that 1 good puddle could ruin everything, however i drive accordingly.

I did hear that the xcel is a little higher and some people think it is better quality with more potential when used with other mods.

I would try and get some info off the guys with the xcel before deciding on what is best.
