im more of a web admin . you know linux use for Apache, Mysql, and windows servers for small corporations on a LAN. Not real into that other stuff. Im a designer more so than a developer, but i know what happens behind the scenes as well.
first off, that didn't make sense (and I'm not trying to flame you, just trying to better your intelligence so when you do come across someone, you won't sound like a downy
). how can you say you're a computer geek, when all you apperently know is web administration (and what sounds like some form of network administration/design). Also remember, if you are a designer... then you are a developer. Each time you design something, be it a fault tolerent, redundant, partial mesh network topology with no single point of failure or a simple flow chart for a stub function that will test boundary conditions/race conditions, you are still developing. You might not be doing the actual coding or implementation but you are still somewhat credited. Btw, how old are you?

I was not trying to flame anyone, if you would have read my statement. That's how computer people are, believe it or not, some help others, some flame others. I tend to mix them up a bit and get the best of both worlds, so shoot me... No reason for you to go deleting a post

Off topic, flamewars, or AIM it. That had a potential to get too out of hand should other people get involved and I'm not havin' it.

Nice. Apparently you haven't been on the boards long enough to see that it's been going downhill lately due to nonsense flame crap and other stupid stuff that should not be going on. We're not having it anymore and I'm not the only mod that thinks this way. Consider it power trippping, consider it being an ass.. I personally don't care. I'm making these forums so people like this thread's starter don't have to feel stupid when posting here. If you wouldn't have to act a fool, I wouldn't have to "power trip" in the first place.

And t3ase I thank you for your defense, you are a great mod and i have only known you for a few hours!!! Like i stated in my first post, I hate forum hate, and i was hesitant to post here. but i have a new restord hope in this board so i will stay and work my way up the hierachy in this forum family!!!

Also I completely understand where you are coming from, I've seen many boards go down hill (like when I was a spyder owner and frequented www.spyderchat.com) But if you recall what I said, and what computergeek agreed to, computer guys/girls like to throw things back and forth at each other like that. It's how we keep sane from the hours upon hours of coding/troubleshooting/configuring/etc... So if you ever see me flame someone over a car, by all means, come kick my ass. Not saying I'm not a geek or anything.. I love computers just as much but the way that post came across was more arrogant than informative.. I picked up on that and wanted to kill it before it got worse.

But for the last 2 years, I saw you can actually make money stopping people from doing what it was that I was doing. So woot woot, write a couple advisories, develop some POC (proof of concept) code, and a workaround/bugfix and you are in mainstream getting hella money b-gates style! And you never told me if that was you or not t3ase! I'm getting ancy...
