Hello I've been a lurker a while but I ran into a problem and need some advice.

I own a 2008.5 MS3. Mods are cai, bov, mm insert, resonator delete and mbc @15psi. Problem is I live @ 6000ft elevation. My boost stock was 11 to 12psi and when I uped it to 15 I get boost cut there instead of higher like at sea level. So I know about the BCD options, but is there a way to just push back boost cut a few psi rather than eliminating it for safety reasons?

Thank you.

I thought our cars came stock with 15psi.

At sea level. Here at 6000ft elevation it pushes 11-12 psi usually. Its because atmospheric pressure is 14.7psi at sea level and around 12psi at this altitude. Thats why im hitting boost cut at a very low 14 to 15 psi. My thinking is if I just back the boost cut a few psi I can run the 15.5psi I want to run without the bucking and cutting. Anyone here have any ideas how this could be done? I know on my old Subaru legacy turbo you just had to put a pin sized hole in the vaccum hose that went to the sensor. Either that or you could use a check valve that opened at a specific psi to trick the senor. Not sure how it works on the mazda but any info would be appriciated.
