hey all. im new here from virginia beach, va. got my 03.5 msp july first this year.

just had a few questions.

i took my car to the track (richmond dragway) and was pretty much dissapointed. best i could run was 16.01 @ 86mph. tires shook very badly.

but it was my first time at the track in a 5spd.

i hear motor mounts is what i need to cure that.

can i get a link?

and i dont want a CAI, but i do want a SRI.

where the best place to get this?

i also wanna do a FMIC... wheres the best place to look?

thanks in advance.

BTW, i met a member that posts here at the track, he had a 03 black msp and his dad brought his STI WRX.

good to meet ya

Doood!....u got a Blazin' (thumb) Keep her clean mang.

Get yourself a drop and some motor mounts, no more wheel hop :D

welcome to the forums. I just installed front and rear mounts, and it feels like a whole new car. Now when I try and pull into to traffic it doesn't feel like im on a cobblestone road.

Motor mounts will definately help with the wheel hop. You can click on my sig if you are looking for parts.

Whoa! Straight to Autocrossover, lol Tell Sam he better pay yo ass for doin dat sheet....

He helped me out big time when I drove across country and needed new tires in Dallas at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon. He went and got the tires before I got there and took me to get them mounted and balanced for dirt cheap. Plus he has never done any of my friends or me wrong on parts.

thanks for all the replys. definatly lots of inspiration here.

i will post pics later after work.

are the yellow ones more rare?

congrats on your MSP!!

all the cars are RARE seing as how there was only 1750 in 2003 and 2600 in 2003.5 (your model year)

per colors.... the most rare (excluding crashed and no longer running ones) are Sunlight silver, Blazing Yellow and Laser Blue in no order at 500 units a piece.

Enjoy the rarity of your car!! its a beautiful yellow... and was my second choice (as well as spicy orange) next to Laser Blue Mica.

Just keep it clean.... IMHO Spicy Orange Laser Blue and Blazing Yellow were never colors to keep dirty... its shows too well lol and just "dulls" the color.
