New Ground Control Install

So I spent all evening putting on some Ground Control slip-cover coilovers or whatever you want to call them....they look great but with one problem....my right front (passenger) strut/spring makes a popping sound after about two turns of the steering wheel....the drivers side is fine...anyone have this problem and get it corrected? I'm going to pull off the wheel in the morning and check to make sure everything is tight and snug....hoping someone has had this problem and can shed some light on it....thanks everyone...

that s*** happens to me cuz i ****** up on installing it by tightening the bolt too many times thinking it was lose and ended up threading out that little lock on the upper mount. if thats not the case , the thing i did was you should grease them top and bottom to stop the noise .

I've had my ground controls for about 17000 miles now. Just a warning the upper aluminum hats on the front struts will wear out. There is too much free play between the aluminum hat and the black plastic gromet from the stock suspension. so what happens is the upper hat starts to wiggle about and wears away. The strut tube is super strong steel and the hat is just soft aluminum by comparison. Mine wore out and had about a millimeter of free play. That is when you start to hear squeeking and clunking. When it happened to me I became super paranoid that my suspension was going to fall apart. Good news though...it is covered under warranty. In fact I just put the new ones on today and drove to their headquarters and took the old ones to get my deposit back. You would think it is some huge facility what with their fame and all but it is just some little place about the size of a small house. Kind of anticlimactic to see it. Now that I've changed out the suspension there is no noise and the ride feels much smoother.

do anyone of you guys have GC's email address? i can't find it on their site. Thanks

I found the problem after calling their tech support....we left out the little plastic bearing plate on the top of the aluminum top hat....now we've installed it and it rides great! I'm a happy camper....thanks everyone for your help..
