I have a 2006 mazdaspeed 6. Really nice car, the AWD doesn't get old lol. I've had it since mid December of '09, second owner, and it just rolled over 34K miles. I traded in an '05 neon SRT4 for it, which i honestly miss! But i'm happy with the spped6. The previous owner was kind enough to leave RPM coil springs on it, aswell as a rear diff mount, RX8 wheels, and shark fin antenna. So far i've added a Fujita CAI, HKS bov, 3" exhaust straight pipe, with two 3" resonators. Also added the 3guage cluster ontop of the dash. Blacked out all emblems, rear tail lights, and painted the RX8 wheels. Hope to learn more about the speed6, and meet some nice people on the way! Thanks, Ryan.
here are some pictures, up to date.

Welcome to the forums.

Personally i think you should have picked a little bit lighter of a color for the spoked. Black looks just a bit to harsh with the silver

thanks, and as far as the rims, it was my FIRST time painting rims, thought it came out good for a rookie. but my plans are to find some G35 wheels, and paint them subaru bronze, remove the black pin stripe, and replace with bronze, and paint the embles bronze.

i think the rest of the car looks good. luckey, i think you have one of the discontinued sets of springs, they dont have the larger drop listed anymore.

Completely random question to the OP. Did you buy your car from Bay-something dealership? Saw a picture of a TGM with RX-8 wheels on the MS6 registry that was lifted from Cars.com

im not sure if they make the springs or not anymore, you know more about it then me, the SRT is my knowledge lol.

thanks for the welcome ChristiansMSP

and no, i bought my speed6 from the Mitsubitshi dealer on atlantic BLVD (Jacksonville fl). The orgional owner traded it in for an EvoX.

I've seen you rolling around town before! I like what you did with the wheels. I can honestly say that I have not seen that done before.

What do you drive? picture?
and thanks, im not a fan of the RX8 wheels, but IMO they look way better then stock msp6 wheels. I only painted them becasue every other regurlar 6 in jville, has these rims, i dont wanna be like everyone else lol

welcome to the forums. not a fan of the wheels but i gotta say, your definitely went out on a limb. thats something i cant say i've seen done yet. you got super lucky with that rear diff mount. that thing is b**** to install. which diff mount is it? FYI, theres two, a front thats made by turbine tech, and a rear mount.

if you plan to do some more. might i suggest a motor mount. awr's dogbone. and engine management. the cobb accessport which really hikes up the fun factor.

what made you give up the srt? four doors and a turbo. what gives?

im not sure what brand the mount is. and the engine mount is fairly new, the owner put the dog mount on, then put it back to stock when he traded it in, and the cobb sport is my next mod, as soon as i get a job... lol

and i got rid of the srt4 becasue it had 81,000 miles on it, needed tires, new timing belt, water pump, engine/tranny mounts, had a horrible carbon fiber hood, and a dent in the fender......mitsubitshi gave me $8,000 for it (whistle) lmao

hahah mitsubishi got ripped :) nice car. Not feeling the rims so much, look a bit ricerish to me but thats what makes the world go round, different tastes. :)

8 k for an 81k srt. thats freakin awesome. Nice to see the consumer get one over on the dealerships for once.

meh, i guess you could say that.
I met the orig. owner of my mazda like a month after i got it, at the local car hangout spot.............he blew the motor, and mazda replaced it, then went straight to mitsubitshi and traded it in (ugh) i wouldn't have gotten it if i knew that. Guess i was to happy to ask for a car facts history report

Nice car dude, nice to see another 6 from FL. just paint those rx8s bronze.

do you know the the guys name who blew it up?

I honestly don't think that would show up on car fax.... besides car fax only shows what has been reported. Some times that crap doesn't get reports tell a year or two later!
