New Exhuast

I just spent a total of $117.00 for my new exhaust. I had to go this route because the wife wouldn' let me spend anymore money. LOL

Anyway this is the factory exhaust exluding the resonater and the muffler. All that was added was the rear section and a black SS tip. The rear section is made with a flange so that I can remove it and replace it with the stock muffler at any time.

The following are some pics and sound clips. Hope they work!

Overall, i am very very pleased with the fit, finish and sound!

Sound

I can't post the sound clips damn it!

Anyone who is interested , I can email you the clips and you can host them for all to hear- I must say, they sound great!

Pipe diameter

It is a 2.5".....

By the way- the camera is a Nikon coolpix 775 and the recordings were taken on an iPAQ 2215. The reason even the ZIP'ed sound files did not work is because the setting on the recording was at 16 bit 172 kb/s blah blah blah, anyway great quality but way too large to post here. Anyway after adjusting the setting, finally got one to fit, upload, check it out!
:D

It doesn't drone at all.

I use to have a P5 with the Mazdaspeed Sport Exhaust and that droned. The setup is nowhere near what the P5 was.

It's crisp, low and nice! Couldn't ask for more. I would suggest it to anyone. (2thumbs)

That looks gorgeous.

So, if I read right, you are using no muffler, correct?

Correct

You are correct- No muffler and no resonator.... I asked the guy, which is a friend of mine at the muffler shop if he would be interested in mass production and he said possibly. He also said that the work was easy.

:D

nice soundclip formula :). if you don't mind, i'll add the link to the exhaust thread. people have been asking how this setup sounds.

OK

Sounds good to me!!!

:D

If you guys want, I can do some additional sound clips i.e. flyby, startup, inside & outside of te car!

Now that I know what setting to have my iPAQ on, I am good to go!

Let me know:cool:
