Since this is a direct bolt on is this something I could do myself or should I take it to a shop. I read some people talking about doing it on there own. I'm pretty mechanically inclined as long as I have the correct tools. The only thing I definitely don't have is a lift.

This install is cake, i remember installing an catback exhuast/W Downpipe on my rsx. It's nothing you can't handle. The only hard part is the hangers thats about it. Just make sure you have 2 jack stands and the proper tools

i am doing the install myself, either with jack stands or at a friend of a friends garage with lifts.

rob, i havent gotten my shifter, but i did write twm yesterday and they were really quick to respond, the guy was real nice and apolagized, my order was backordered but somehow i slipped through the computer and recieved a shipping email, they are sending me the p5 shifter with a free weighted knob, its already in the mail. now thats good customer service.

Yeah TWM is awsome although I did not order my MSP short shifter from them I did order my shift Knob from them and they got it to me in like 3 days of my order. I ordered my shifter from Ptuning.com and I think I paid like $87.00 plus shipping and they too got me my shifter in like 3 days. I truly love my shifter, it was easy to install and it makes it so much more fun to drive.
