New Exhaust for Mazdaspeed Proteges

Thanks for coming through on your deposit! Nobody doubted you, we just impatient.

Your install should be no problem. Boost guage takes like 20 min. SS is pretty easy too. Depending on what brand SS you have, you might have to bend or cut a little on the front of the exhaust heatshield beneath the shifter. You can also use spacers and longer bolts to move the heat shield down a bit. I think the TWM comes with these. I used a cutting wheel and just trimmed about 2 inches off the front (looks better than bending). If you don't already have them, you should throw in some Kartboy bushings & Corksport Bronzeoil Bushings while your under there. The Kartboys go in no problem, but the Bronzeoils require a little fitment.

tell me more about the bronzeoils since i will be putting those on fairly soon, maybe this weekend if i feel like it, they arent a very big upgrade so i might wait till everything else comes in, pm me so we dont ***** up this thread!

God I cant wait this is pretty much going to be my first mod so I am supper excited about getting this exhaust. I already have the TWM SS and I guess if you want to call that my first mod you could but I dont look at it as much of a mod because it doesnt give you any hp or performance gains it just makes the car more fun to drive. I think I'm also going to buy an Injen CAI once my exhuast comes in which I hope will help performance wise with this exhaust. My next big purchase is going to be a FMIC that i hope helps me get of the 200 hp mark then on to fuel and engine mgmt and last but not least up the boost.

Just installed the boost guage took 5 minutes lol, i put it where the dimmer switch is in the mean time till i can get a pod. my shifter is a kartboy and should be arriving sometime next week. after those mods then comes this exhuast.

Well I just came home from work and all I could think about today was "Did we get ten" and it finally happened. Thanks to all you guys for coming through on this group buy. I always hear that they never work but for my very first one I'm glad it did. I'll be calling on monday as well and I can't wait to get my exhaust.

As you can see, that is ten, but one persons credit is still verifying, didn't ask any more details, don't want to know, its all good, should be complete and ready Monday/Tuesday. I am still happy and excited, maybe I won't get my exhaust in Georgia as soon as I wanted, but John is nice and thanks to everyone involved. I doubt John ever wants to do another group buy!
