So I was rather bored tonight but I found it to be a great opportunity to try out my new toys. I picked up a wide angle converter for my A-80 and some fun filters as well.
The night shot below was using a Neutral Density filter which takes out half the light hitting the camera thus reducing the intensity of them headlights. I also used a flash with a 15 second exposure set to go off 10 seconds after I hit the shutter so I could get into position. After the flash, I rolled off the screen Adam West style. Prolly had the neighbors really confused but it was fun as hell!
The second and third were taken using a .7 wide angle converter lens which allows me to shoot more area and adds a neato touch of distortion!
Can't wait to try the new stuff out on the Starved Rock meet!
