new engine brain?

there was talk a while back about Mazda replacing the ecu/pcm/brain box on the '03 protege's did that ever happen?

ecu reflash. id just keep your old one.

They came out with one last year(wasn't really worth it), and "supposedly" there was going to be one this past July, but it was more than likely simple speculation...Best bet is to just get engine management if you really want to solve your problems...
