new deck question

I want a new deck for my mp3.. so the original has the deck and below it is that little cubby/pocket thing... would it be possible to take both out and get like a 6" gps type of system.. kinda like this one here:

Yeah that should fit with no problems....I would tint though if you haven't already so no one can look in your car at that...but thats just me
