**Update** Fixed it myself, bracket that attaches to door frame was loose causing it to snap back and forth at each detent on the door-check strap.
Just purchased a new CX9 GT after looking at a ton of stuff in the class. Only 500 miles on it but love it so far.
One thing is bugging me is this sound from the passenger side door. Curious if this is something that will work itself out over time, or if it is something I should take it in for. Its the only door that does it.
