I am hoping this is the best source of information about these cars, since we just bought one Saturday....Drove the Toyota Highlander, and Hyundai Veracruz, too....needed a 3rd row seat, and Black leather or at least dark grey was a must, which ruled out the Highlander for what we wanted amenities-wise, and the Hyundai drove poorly, lacked a back up camera at all, and the Infinity stereo sounded about as good as my Norelco electric razor for sound quality...the CX-9 drove great, has some style, and handles great....We traded a 2001 Dodge Durango SLT Plus loaded up with just about every Dodge option...it was our 2nd 2001 Durango SLT Plus, and our 5th Chrysler in 15 years....3 Jeep Grand Cherokees, and the two Durangos...and the wife(primary driver) wanted something more modern, feminine, and worth more than 5 to 6K when it comes time to trade it in. I have owned an RX-7 in the past, and it was great. (1987 white with blue Turbo II w/5 speed) I also drive a Dark Burgundy 2005 Volvo XC90 V8 for my company vehicle.
