so i installed the SRI and put on the badge and so far no CEL. ran if for awhile.
was a little challenge to get it to fit with the Auto trans stick right there but got it in snug.

gonna install the Tbrace soon and then make a cold box/ or shield for the SRI. sounds awesome commpared to the stock :D

i know i know. AT. but hey gotta make the commute more fun somehow.

now i just gotta fight the warm air.

ppl keep asking why i would add anything to a car as powerless as the 2. and i simply tell them, drive one and take it around a few corners. youll see why.

(most of them drive muscle cars)

also just to let those know. its pretty loud in the mid-high revs. didnt think it would be after seeing/hearing videos. but pheww it is :P

I was wondering if you left the holes open on the black tube that runs from the ecu housing?

I want to hear the difference in sound the intake makes! Rear end looks nice and clean though. 8)

i left them open, CS said too for ecu cooling.

havnt had any problems
been loving the response/sound/overall feel

yea I have the injen cai and I decided to close the holes. I put the factory duct back on, I figured that would be sufficient enough. Any one know if closing/leaving these open makes a difference?

This is a little disappointing. I was really hoping an intake wouldn't add too much noise on this car. Since the 2 is my DD and will likely see child-taxiing service in the near future I have to keep it quiet. I guess it's a K&N drop-in for me :(

Also curious why you put the "Demio" on the left. Wouldn't it be more appropriate on the right while maintaining the "Mazda" on the left?

as long as you dont floor/lead foot it its DD worthy as i have to DD mine.
