New CBE Odor & white smoke

I recently installed a cat-back and have ~100 miles on the exhaust. The exhaust smell really badly and white smoke is bellowing out. What could cause both the issues?

Its usually the oily residue inside the piping that has to burn off.

agreed. There's oil inside of the pipes from the bender and usually welding flux.
