New 3 owner Ohio

Being the newbie that I am, I think I may have posted my new member thread in the wrong welcome center. (hand) Anyways... from Cincinnati OH...just brought home a 2010 Mazda 3 i touring Liquid Silver 5 spd manual (gotta have manual with this car!). Absolutely love it. I just ordered a cargo tray so I dont dirty up my nice new carpets, some all weather mats, and the sunshade. Im kinda browsing around the forum. Lots of information! first mod on the list is tinting the windows. anybody have any idea how much (I am sure I will find a thread on that somewhere around here.)

Good tint job will cost between 150-250. Look for lifetime warranty, lots of experience, and quality product.

I got my 3i sedan tinted for $150, and the guy actually came to my house, i didnt have to take it anywhere. So deals are out there.

Post some pics of the rear cargo tray, i was thinking about buying that as well.

wow! That is not a bad deal at all! how dark did you go? legal law here in OH is 50% fronts and anything in the back. Im thinking maybe 50% front and 35% rear. Dont want it to look goofy though.

I got the Cargo tray in today with the all weather mats and the sun shade. Cargo tray fits really well, I like it. The mats are decent. I wasnt too fond of the driver's mat so I put some of that clear plastic carpet protector down in the exposed spots so water and dirt dont get on the carpet. love the front window shade. fits perfectly.

Looking good....I've contemplated the cargo tray, thanks for the pic. I'll have to show it to the wife and get her opinion however. lol

I almost purchased the oem winter mats as well but then found the weather tech mats....not cheap but anyone who has them says they are worth the $$$.

When did you remove the chrome trim on the front bumper?

Ha! Since this was bumped in my 'subscribed threads' I thought, "Hey, I just met that guy!" Car looked great in person-the difference in just painting the emblems flat black alone was awesome. It matches the flat black plastic trim pieces perfectly! Let me know how the back ones turn out!

haha thanks! I know in some of the pictures my car looks like it towers over everyone else because it hasn't been dropped yet. lol I haven't been able to work on the backs for a few days but am going to get back on them tomorrow. I will post a thread with pics in the "what have you done today" once they are finished.

That cookout gave me a ton of ideas.... unfortunately... they are not cheap... haha
