Well, I finally got a call back from the dealer late last night who said it looks like 6-8 more weeks. I was hoping for sooner, but at least I have an idea of when it'll get here, which seens to be sometime in May. Mind you, the car was ordered on Feb. 13.

Yeah dude, that sucks...I'm waiting on almost the exact same car as you for about 3 weeks now...was told it would be six, but I think I'll be waiting for months based on what everyone else is saying. I was also told that Titanium grey is the hardest color to get. Dealers suck. They will tell you any lie to get you sign. They will even tell you you're gonna get the car tomorrow when it is really 5 months away if thats what they have to do to sell you the car. I wish I could just buy my car direct from Mazda over the internet even if it means full list price to avoid all of the hassles of dealers.

Waiting for the Mz3 after signing for at least 3 to 6 weeks is the norm in every where around the world. I have waited for 3 weeks for my Tit. Grey and I will get the car by today (how lucky of I am). My stock is actually the first lot of production in Japan but delivery to HK in end of Feb. I heard from my source saying that the bottlenecks are on the shipping side and the materials. As there is a substantial shortage on vessels, all the manufacutrers (not just auto industry) are looking for ships to ship their products to other countries and the freight rates have been increased by more than 200% since 2003. The point is this situation not just happening on transportation but on the raw material costs, such as steel, copper, aluminium, etc. Steel prices have increased substantially recently. As a result, we have to wait for our Mz3 for such a long period of time as the demand for Mz3 is totally out of expectation and they have difficulties in finding ships to transport, unless they need to pay an extra high price on the transportation cost, which I think they don't. Since the steel price and transportation cost is going up dramatically, I heard from my source saying that they might increase the price for at least 15% to 20% in the coming 1 to 2 months.........So, if you don't want to pay a higher price in the future, you better to buy now but you have to wait for at least 6 weeks for delivery.......or, choose other models that have stocks on hand.............

nice, i got the same exact car as well, but i got lucky as hell when i was at the dealer, they just got a shipment from japan and snagged it right then and there. i love it, but want to jazz it up a bit more with some mods. tint will definately look hot on the titanium gray.

I feel the same way.. I'm in my last two weeks of my junior year in college and I can think about nothing but getting my new 3.. I'm also starting a new job may 10th, but that too is taking a back seat to my new mazda which comes in first week of june.. arrgh!

Well, after waiting almost 2 weeks and never hearing from the dealer, I called today and finally got a live preson to give me an update. They said two more weeks!!!!!!!!I'm looking at the end of May now. I got a call April 17 telling me it was at the port and would be here by the end of April, now it's the end of May. I can't believe it's taking a month and a half to get to the dealer from the port. I ordered the car Feb. 14. I fell like going to the dealer to get my $500 deposit back and saying $#%@ you! (rant)

Hi everyone! I just joined and am soo happy to have found this board. I have been searching every where for a decent Mazda Board or one with other 3 owners. This thread makes me feel bad about whining about waiting two weeks for mine, but it was well worth it. I got a titanium S with black leather, moonroof, 6 disk changer, ABS/SAB/SAC, spoiler & sport package. I cant wait to play, Im ready for mods and upgrades.
