Boy, the update takes forever. It was much faster on the 6th generation...

I tried the update (2025Q2) on a 2025 G35 Akera (Australia).
Maps updated but navigation lost the ability to find addresses!
Streets and POI were visible on the map overview, but search only recognised suburbs.

Luckily I was able to restore the previous map (2023Q2).

The update on my 2023 European CX-5 went well, although it took many hours to complete.

After the update, if you noticed issues with the addresses, did you first try resetting the infotainment system (by pressing three buttons or restarting it from diagnostic mode)?

Yes - I tried a reset but there was no change.

Weird....

A reset to factory settings was also a possibility, but then you would lose all your settings and favorites.
