New 2023 CX-5 Turbo Signature for $40k vs Used 2022 Turbo Signature for $36k?

LOL, I don't remember 72 mths at 0.9%, but I did get 60 at 0.9% when I got my '21.
Mazda offered 1.9% APR for 36 mo. on my 2022 so I opted to take it instead of paying cash. It was 0% APR back in 2020 on the MX-5 which was even more of a no-brainier.

yea. Mazda financing is pretty good for August

interest months
2.9%36
4.9%48
4.9%60 and 63
5.9%72
I just took advantage of this. They were slightly lower for ‘23 CX-5s. I got 3.9% for 60 months and zero down payment. Keeping cash in an online savings earning over 5%.

I would never buy a used care unless it was SIGNIFICANT discount. Today, you save maybe a few grand. You can negotiate a new car down so close is makes zero sense to take a chance the former owner abused the car.
