2014 Mazda6 GT
Hi All,

Just thought I'd post some picks of my new Mazda 6. I decided to purchase the Grand Touring in Blue Reflex with Almond interior with MRCC and FOW. This is actually my 3rd Mazda 6. Started with a gray 2007 Mazda 6s Sport, then I had a gray 2010 Mazda 6s GT.

When I saw the 2014's I knew that it was time to upgrade. I've really enjoyed all my Mazda's and they have been trouble free.

Here are some pics:

Nice shots. I didn't like the blue reflex the first time I stopping the local ZoomZoom shop. But the only one they had was a GT in the showroom & the fluorescent lights didn't do much for the color. Since I've seen 2 on the road & it looks much better in the sun.

Blue Reflex is likely the color in the #1 slot for me, followed by Liquid Silver. But in a 6MT Touring.

In Northern Ohio, it seems like these cars are flying off the dealer lots. My color choices were the Soul Red or Blue Reflex, black or almond interior were fine with me as long as it had the MRCC and FOW. Dealer had to go to Michigan to find the car.

I have only seen 1 other 2014, Soul Red, around here so I'm glad I have the Blue.

Beautiful, I have the same car same color but touring with fogs, dimming mirror, mud flaps and the rear and door sill plates added. I'm curious tbaker1, where did you get the Mazda "Zoom Zoom" logo, I have one of those stickers left over from when I bought our MPV van in 2004 and was trying to decide where to put it on my new 6, was thinking the lower rear window over the rear window brake light? I like what you did with yours too....did the dealer have those still lying around or what? Congrats on the new beauty....Rampage

Hey Rampage,

Sweet ride hope you enjoy it every day.

I got the stickers from a local dealer. I ordered the sunscreen through the Mazda website and had it delivered to a nearby dealer since shipping was outrageous, the lady in the parts department was very nice, asked her for 2 and she gave them to me. Try your dealer. I've also seen them on Amazon and mazdagear.com.

I was at a lost as to where to put it, decided not to put it too close the the license plate, didn't want it on the rear window, so that why it ended up there...

Sounds good TBaker1, as you say, enjoy that sweet ride!

Being sort of like fellow forum member Monkey (really into the smallest details), one thing that bugged me (looking at your pics again) is that the front license plate bracket covered part of the front chrome trim, so I ordered a nice license plate cover from Weathertech (also got their full customized mat package for this car) for the front and was able to lower it enough upon install to solve that problem using the right combination of screws included with the package (discarding the huge dealer front plate holder thingy). I also installed a "Mazda 6" chrome frame in the back, didn't want the dealer advertising frame. Something to consider if you're really into the details....Monkee also found these cool door latch guards for cheap on Ebay which I picked up. It's all in the details, LOL! Rampage

Rampage,

I went out and look at the car, I see what you mean with the license plate. I may have to try and fix that too. I'd prefer to not even have a front plate, but the state of Ohio frowns on that.... (Had a Pontiac years ago that I decided didn't need a front plate, but 3 different friendly officers disagreed with me... put it back on before I got cited.)

I'll be taking the dealer frames off as soon as the real plates come.
