2010 Mazda CX-7 GT 2.3L Disi TURBO AWD
Hi all! I'm new here! I recently purchased my 2010 CX-7 GT, 2.3L Turbo AWD and am enjoying the ride so far! I have a one main frustration point that I hope someone can shed some light on...

The door locks! Seems like a simple enough, standard item... push the button lock / unlock ... right!? That's what I get for thinking... can't seem to use the door lock button inside the car to do either! I have the advanced key fob... not sure if that makes a difference of not... but I purchased an owners manual, and tried the programming steps... but never hear a beep to let me know that the car is now in programming mode... the only way I can lock/unlock is with the key fob... Any helpful suggestions?

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase OEM parts for routine service? Dealer said it would be at least $65.00 for an oil change due to the turbo! Really?! Seems crazy high to me for an oil change... it is still under warranty so don't want to void it! Also, wondering if anyone has had experience with issues to be on the look out for... since this is my first Mazda, I just want to get some insider tips for things to know about or to look out for... good or bad!

Thanks from Indy! PAB921

If the key is in the ignition or in the 'On' position, and you push the lock button, it shouldn't lock. It should just keep the drivers door unlocked.

BUT if you're pushing the lock/unlock button on the inside & nothing is happening, then you might have a blown fuse. Have you tried from the passenger side?

$65 for an oil change is crazy. You can do it yourself for much cheaper than that.
