2008.5 Mazdaspeed 3 GT in True Red, 125cc CRG Stock Moto Shifter
New owner...traded in my old 2003.5 Titanium Mazdaspeed protege to keep it in the family...

I purchased True Red GT with Sirius and Factory Tint...

Ecstatic with my new purchase, almost done with the break in period already...

Also drive a 125cc Stock Moto CRG SHifter kart...

Girlfriend drives 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege in Yellow...

SHe drives a 125 TaG (Touch and Go) Birel...she's faster than me :)

....

Congrats!!! A nice soft car for you to drive when you're not in your shifter kart.

God I love 'em!

Yeah...sorry I meant dealer installed tint...I was a bit slow...it WAS monday after all..

The tint DOES however have a lifetime warranty...any bubbles or color turn and the dealer replaces it NO charge...

I also got this seven year protection package...basically if get a stain in the carpet that I or they CANNNOT get out they replace the carpet...also if some idiot tears my leather up to 1 inch..they will repair it or replace it no charge...AND the paint is guaranteed to NOT oxidise for 7 years...its one of those dealer fluff things they do that a lot in Texas but actually its pretty nice deal...

Kind of funny they have like a list of all the stains and stuff that are covered and its like...

Coffee
Ketchup
grease
Urine and Vomit.....

hahah I laughed at that one...guess that makes me the DD for a while...:)

And Tiago..yes my kart is pretty ridiculous...but then again my Speed 3 is proving to be also quite ridiculous...I plan on gettin the Cobb Sport SRI before 1000 miles...

Kain...how did the Cobb Rear sway bar effect the handling?

AlsoI have heard you cant get the stockexhaust out without either cutting it or dropping the rear suspension...true ?

Awesomely. Everyone should get a thicker rear sway bar at the very least. Easy to install, inexpensive, and helps make an already nice handling car that much nicer.

My name is Swampass and I approve this message.

Rear sway is too inexpensive and too easy to replace to not have one. The results are stellar.

I don't see poop on the list...
that may be a problem...

good luck getting the Cobb SRI before you put 1000 miles on it...back ordered for like EVER(argh)

Excellent...

So far planned mods are as following...

TWM Shifter, Knob (Type R Gunmetal) and bushings...
COBB SRI (is there a waiting list for this?)
I will make a carbon airbox for the SRI...(because I can...anybody else interested after I post pics?)

Rear Motor Mount...maybe..I dont really plan on ever launching my car. I get to race wheel to wheel on the track so dont feel the need on the street.

COBB Rear Sway Bar...because Kane and Swampass say so...
(thanks for approving the thread by the way Swampass :P)

Possibly an Accessport, but only if I am 100% absolutely positively sure it can be taken off without a trace...so as not to void the warranty you know?

That sould be good for now...I plan on trying to make a smattering of carbon pieces here and there depending on what I find that I think I can make.

In fact i was looking at the COBB SRI and may try to make something similar...should not be that hard. The quality of the mold is the hardest part..

Inputs? Worth making or not?

Yeah I was worried about that too...but then I thought if someone ever pooped themselves in my car I would think the blood stains would be even more of a problem to get out...

ha ha I can see the warranty work write up on that...

"Please describe the nature of the stain"

"Uhmm Blood and Poop?"
