New 2 the MS6 scene..

Friend turned me onto the MS6 and I have been loving it ever since. I bought a 07 MS6, Platinum Silver. I just recently added a MAZDASPEED CAI, FORGE BYEPASS VALVE and a TEST PIPE all from Ken at Protege Garage. I was curious what kind of gains with HP, TORGUE and overall powerband I may see. I have read some dyno runs from the manufactures but curious if anyone actually has some data with the same type of MODS? I have noticed the turbo lag is all but gone and the lovely new sounds coming from under the hood.

Dyno is going to vary based on the individual car, as some are much higher than others from the factory.

Hey thanks for the warm welcomes. I live in San Diego and bought the MS6 up in Tustin. I figured each car would be a little different and just looking for a general idea about the gains. Curious how one would run a dyno on a AWD vehicle or is there a certain DYNO with two meters or cylinders to run all four wheels?

yeah, you would need to find an AWD dyno machine.

all of the information i've seen says its a 90/10-50/50 system. its 90/10 fwd, until a front wheel slips, then it transfers up to 50% to the rear wheels.

Thanks for the INFO on the power ratio I appreciate it. Would anyone happen to know how bad the shutter valve issue on the recalls are and when the reprogram my PCM with the new flash is that the most up to date version or programming available?

its been debated quite a bit. the most recent info i heard was that its never 100% front, just has a very strong fwd bias. but, who knows...
