NEMOC Random BS Thread

27x7x2.5 is this one. Just removed the brackets for the PS cooler line and re-mounted the one on the end higher up where it fit perfectly. I think it was one of the horn bolting points that it lined up with. Everything else had plenty of room, thought a faint offset to the passenger side for the IC overall, but not a concern or problem for me.

Sounds really close to the FM dimensions. Mine is also offset to passenger a little. Doesn't bother me

Went for a hard bike ride last night and cleared out the sinuses, so I feel a lot better today. Unfortunately tomorrow night and ALL DAY Saturday we're doing pre-cana stuff...so I may go insane. Then bike race on Sunday, whoo!

Damn, that isn't far at all then. Years ago, I took my wife's sister up there for a bowling tourney. The alley was just across the street from the mall. If you ever get down near the Hecktown Road exit (where Young Mazda is), I'm about 2 miles in.

Yeah, I'm through there regularly, as I take 33 down to 22 on my way to MD every 3-6 weeks.

Yeah, I was contemplating a shorter one, like 5.5", but decided that since I knew i was going higher power, I might as well go as large as I could. No real cost savings in going shorter given the price.

I cried when I heard this one.

Looks nice Josh.
Was a busy day yesterday. First repaired the towed light wiring. I use this when I tow Mia behind the rig. Then I've had a noise coming from the fan heater motor for a few months. Pulled it out and found leaves in the blades. CLeaned them out and now the motor is quiet again.

Did a run to Costco in Orlando and then met some of the Ottawa Miata group for dinner in New Smyrna Beach.

Colder today but looks to be warming up for Friday and the weekend. 2 more weeks and then the trip back to Canada.
you know what though bruce, for all the stats he has and i do like wes, getting in the end zone is what the pats need, and that's not wes..so as much as i hated losing hin too, if we get more TD's then that's what will make a difference come playoff time!

Just keep Sunday in mind to keep your sanity.

So you've had the 'pleasure' of driving 22. If you haven't already, go East next time you are down for a personal trip and cruise through Cemetary Curve.

True, but Wes was good at getting those first downs when they needed them. Forgot to mention it to my son this morning but I'm sure he heard at school today....he won't be too happy. Just hope that Amendola stays healthy...he is good but always seems to get banged up whereas Wes could take the hits or should I say knew how to minimize them.

gronk and hernandez can get first downs

I haven't had much trouble with 22. Maybe a couple clogs at the construction near the mall down there to the west of 33, but that's it. I bought my MSM in Easton/Phillipsburg, so if you are referring to the really tight section on 22, yeah, I've been through there :)

I've got some rollercoaster roads in my back yard practically though, so I haven't gone farther afield looking for any yet.

Mahk, in response to MSM comment, yeah, I drove in on them today. I never really paid attention to tire noise, but coasting down one hill, I did notice that these were quieter. My exhaust and/or turbo noises conspire with the wind noise too much to hear anything else usually :) Even out of boost my turbo spinning up or down can be heard very clearly. It's like the turbo is practically in my lap. The low rumble from my exhaust out of boost is louder than when it's in boost too. Not by much, and only in lower cruise RPM, but still louder. At idle in the garage it vibrates all of the glass in my house.

They are superbly balanced, better than any of my other sets between my two Miatas. Only a very faint 65mph shimmy.

Mahk, they're going to miss Welker as your two tight ends are injury prone and the Pats offense are based the both of them. So where does Brady go if Gronk and Hernandez are out? Almirola, he is always injured and really can't spread the field and is not really a possesion receiver......I have a feeling from an offensive standpoint they'll be suffering.

As is the case with hard piping. My car... you can't hear the turbo at all. Just a "wooosh" from the air.

i don't think you're wrong, but look what has happened the last several yrs....playoffs, no SB...what did they need...more points..i'm not saying Almirola is the solution, but it's clear they needed to do more then keep wes to win the big game(s), i don't think they're done yet either..they'll be some other additions. i still think the two TE's will be able to fill the loss for first downs.

oh ya, good morning nemoc! no spring this weekend...back to the chills, :(

Morning All, TGIF, it is Friday right?? Lose track sometimes.

Mark, re Wes, still got to get to the endzone to score. Wes was key to that IMHO. Still the pats have always come up with somebody, we'll see what happens. I think they made an error in bringing Gronk back too soon after the broken arm. Hernades was no doing much on his own when Gronk was out.

On another note, for those of you using Android smartphones, what are you using to read this forum?

Also need to remove the vinyl from the roof. It is faded and I think I will use PlastiDip instead. How do I remove the vinyl??

I actually just use the browser. I never liked the app that came out.

TGIF everyone!

Been training my replacement all week so haven't been able to get on at all. Finally confident that he can take care of himself a little so I have a free moment to hop on here.

Hope everyone is well, and WTF is up with this weather? I love the snow and cold, don't get me wrong, I'm a Canuck and hockey player, but damnit when it gets up to 60 and then DROPS to 15 I'm a sad panda!

Edit: LOL just noticed your avatar Phen - well at least you'll get the reference :p

TGIF indeed! Just got back from Wegmans about 30 minutes ago. Groceries are put away and Tam is geting chocolate candies ready for our nieces bday party on St. Patty's Day (she's a little leprechaun :)) When she's done we'll hit up the tivo and catch up on some shows.

I actually just use the browser. I never liked the app that came out.

The app is akin to what I just cleaned out of my daughter's diaper.

This! I've tried the app and it is BOOTY!!!

Hmm, what app? I find the browser a little frustrating on a small screen for reading the forum.

Morning all. ANother beautiful day. mid 70's today. Still effing cold back home. Better warm up to at least above freezing for the drive back.
