NEMOC Random BS Thread

LOL Tony, that's funny! This was the Gold G2 color. I would have preferred a more bronze color but i think this came out good. I really have to do a better job bleeding the system though. Pedal is extremely soft.

Make sure that you whack the brake pedal strongly and quickly (like you are doing rapid fire) to help add shock that dislodges bubbles.

Amanda was workin the pedal, but she got tired of pumping after a while. I saw the fluid change color on all 4 corners but I think there are still bubbles that need a vacuum system to get out.

Looks Good Chris.

Congrats Ash

Nice Oleg. I wouldn't bother with the lower gear. With the way you drive it's pointless.

Forgot to mention the old girl turned 90k last week. Got the rocker back from the bodyshop and found 1 spot they missed. Fixed it tonite with some epoxy. Hoping to get it back on tomorrow.

morning nemoc!
I got a new job, whoo! Technical Project Manager at a software company. It's literally 2 minutes from my house.
awesome!!!
Hello NeMoc :)

I like it chris! mine are silver and i was thinking about black...got this black thing going on, but i like the idea of bronze.... break up the black and red?

(hi) NEMOC!

Congrats on the new job Ash!!!

Calipers came out nice Chris and the car is looking good.

Mahk, I agree with Phen, go bronze!

don't want to speak for dan, but i think the p5 is down...he posted something a while back about it....but your's is still going strong jeff? i started mine the other day and was just lerring it run and was walking around it and boy the rear lid is bubbling on the passengers side bottom now. crazy though, i have no rust on the rear fenders! the engine bay/strut towers both drivers and passengers door bottoms....on well it is after all on winter duty...i just want it to hold up another 3 winters!

Yo!

So... I may be getting my P5 back. IF I do, I'm gonna have some fun with it. I'm thinking spray painted flat black, slam it to the ground, red steel wheels, and go rat rod with it. Just for s****. Why not? It's a piece of junk now anyway.

Go bronze!
Bronze isn't one of their main colors...but they'll make custom colors if you organize a group buy. Sometimes they have left over colors. I looked for Velocity Red but no such luck. I might have taken a chance on one of the available custom colors but it is more expensive and I figured gold would give me the look I was going for.

Oh damn, I must have missed that post...sux to hear and hope it's back up and running? Yeah, Karen is still running and no rust on my hatch or doors but the rocker panel on the DS is getting a little worse as is the PS strut tower. I just started getting some serious clunking in the front end too when going over bumps, at times it sounds like the whole front end is going to fall apart? Haven't had time to try and diagnose it and honestly wouldn't even know where to start. Wish you luck in keeping her on the road for another 3 winters...shouldn't be too hard though with her limited use. I'm hoping mine will last at least three more years while my daughter finishes out high school....great first car for her - slow, already broken in (knicks, dings, hail dents), reliable (to date), slow, I'm sure some of her friends (those with testosterone...lol) will be envious that it's lowered, has an intake, aftermarket exhaust, etc and did I mention slow? haha

I say go for it, if you get it back. She won't be your primary driver by any means and considering the rust....have some fun with it!!! Hell, go crazy and fix it up some for a Chump Car or 24hrs of LeMons race.

TGIF...wait my day won't be over until tomorrow. Working 7:30-4 at my first job and working in the kitchen tonight at the Country Club for a wedding/reception from 5-12. UGH!

How is the therapy coming along Sean....no more taking two steps back I hope.

I'm walking and driving almost normally. Stairs still present a challenge though.

I still don't have a lot of strength in my quads yet, and there's still some swelling that needs to go away.
