Tam was telling me over dinner that she passed a car carrier with some Mazda2s and loved the aquatic blue mica. Needless to say I've been online and found I could pick up a S4 for around $143 a month after loyalty cash, trade-in and using 0% at 72mos which I'm not sure if that is even available. 60mos put it at $171.

All this talk about high MPG cars has made me come to the conclusion that once my pickup dies I'm going to have to get one myself. As much as I love having a pickup available whenever I need it, it sucks having to fill up on $85 of gas 2 or 3 times a week for work travel. Yeah, I get mileage reimbursement ($0.51/mile) which actually makes me money...but I'm still losing out with a gas-guzzler.
Truck has 135k on it...should only last another ~2 years. I put about 25,000 miles a year on it....I drive a lot

Didn't you know Canada only has 3 seasons? Starts out in Winter..then goes to Spring. Spring turns right into Fall and then Winter is right up your ass again.
In other news, I made the last payment on my 8 last night. Paid it off 22 months in advance!

in other news...good morning nepoc! looking forward to getting my roll bar installed sat.... also have an annoying rattle under my seat...i think the new ebay mid pipe is whacking a cross member on some bumps...will have to investigate that...can't drive 2200 miles with that rattle!

Apparently my mid-pipe was doing that at some point too. Dude cut sections of rubber out and used hose clamps to wrap the cross member with the rubber so that it stayed quiet.

I'm getting a lot done today thanks to the crappy weather keeping me indoors..
1) Ordered my LRP corral ticket....finally.
2) Had issues ordering a cat converter (for my truck) I said I ordered a week or two ago...got that all squared away and ordered correctly this time
3) Paid some tickets (rofl)
Connecticut up'd their fee for not having a front license plate on. From $80 to $92...I got bagged at a checkpoint last week. I don't want to put it back on...but I might. At least something temporary that I can clamp on and off without hassling with attaching the mount to the grill. Maybe go ghetto-style with some releasable zip ties

That is nice. We used to have something similar to that on our bikes, but it was for the opposite reason. We would hide the plate on the highway when we were going 'a little' over the speed limit. Cops in CT can't chase a bike, but they can issue a speeding ticket if they read the plate. We'd leave the plates out around town so as to not get pulled over.
