Law School had the "spring fling" last night, committee decided it would be a good idea to have it on a boat but by Friday the Middletown dock had floated away so we had to take a bus to Haddam. Then the weather was too choppy to actually leave the dock which flooded by 1130 anyways. Gotta tell ya watching girls in 5in heels walk through 5inchs of water is kind of amusing, Darwin at work.
The oral advocacy competition at school wrapped up Thursday, I was knocked out in the quarter finals but was selected for Moot Court board (litigation equivalent of Law Review) on the basis of my argument skills from the first round.

Put new tires on the 8 but I'm not gonna be able to make the clean meet, I really needed to clean her up too. Maybe the CT folks with space should have a local clean meet *cough* JennJames *cough*

Lol sure! You, Gary, and whoever can come over! Gary needs to install my "old" hi-flow cat so we could have a mini install/clean meet.

duathlon done...no idea what the total time is till they post results online. I know I did the ride in 40, and our transitions were wicked fast since we were a relay.

still havnt been able to track down the guy who backed into me by phone. so i really need to make a stop by the persons house or have the police make a phone call for me

Should we go knocking on his door this Saturday morning? hehe Have the police make a call or is to late to 'report' it?

I'm not, unfortunately. My father in law and I go to the NY auto show every year, and I made plans with him months ago.. I think we'll just have to party pottstown style at lime rock

That's cool, have fun at the show and LRP is just as good a place as any. lol

Went to dealer today to get my check engine light looked at. Car had been hesitating and lurching in first gear and it felt like any time i lifted off the gas the car jerked to adjust to the lowering revs. I was thinking prob something with fuel systems. Nope. The egr valve strikes again. That plus an oil change and a new intake hose (mine had torn at the accordian part) = $700... i was kind of mad at my dad cuz they called while i was walking my dog and he said ok to everything, and i came in and groaned, like oh cmon we could buy the hose for like $30 max. Prob overspent by alot. Anyways at least the car will be running well.

Tho i really cannot wait to have it running well i had begun to hate driving it because it was so bad starting off/accelerating

Ouch...did they replace the egr or just clean it? You could have cleaned it for next to nothing and a few four letter words or swapped to the Canadian EGR for around $100 along with some four letter words.

Not surprising for ME. How was the weekend Mark?

not bad fri and sat...where i broke the ice to get water, it froze overnight...was prob 1/4"-1/2" thick! sun it poured, we left early. saw the biggest beaver lodge i've ever seen...prob 15' high! two bald eagles and their nest...the nest must have been around 10' around and about 40' up in this big old pine tree at the lakes edge.

Already been cleaned once. Didnt know it was egr this time tho. We barely were able to clear te rear mount lasttime it was such a pain in the ass.

Not too many from NEPOC probably. It was disappointing last year. Had more fun with the lightning storm.

Beautiful day here. Going to a Maita garage tonite meet. Get to use the lifts for $5/hr. Going to do an oil change and take a look underneath.
