some how there is water getting in my trunk just a bit not a whole lot... i neeed help anyone with this problem ??? please helllp!!!

Most likely its from the rear lights. You will need to remove them and lay a bead of sealant prior to putting them back in. It has happend to more than a few Protege owners.

Did it help? i'm getting the same problem. After heavy snow or rain the two pockets on the sides (the one that holds the scissor jack) and pocket that holds the spare tire fill up with water. I am stumped about how the water is getting in there.

No reason to be stumped. Barring a tear in the trunk weather stripping I can assure you with a 99.9% confidence level that pulling them out and using sealant will resolve your problem.

It leaks from the corner of the weather strip in my car, I had one that had about a gallon of water in it. I put a little extra silicone to help it seal better and that fixed it. I had to drive it a few days without the rubber plug under the spare tire to get rid of the moisture and smell.
