Hey guys, im looking into getting a couple new 12" subs for my speed6. I am relatively dumb when it comes to the audio scene and the brands so i am looking for a little help in finding some. I would appreciate any recommendations on subs in the 300 to 400 rms range. I had a guy at work recommend MTX 7500 series subs to me. Anyone have any input on them? Thanks.

Rather ballzy amp.
I would go for something that will wire to 4 ohms to limit the power to only 400 watts rms.
MTX seems to drift more toward SPL every year and away from SQ.
JL W3 could work.
Also check out REaudio, although I am not very impressed with their built quality.

Thanks but i already have a box and all that, just looking to replace my old subs because they are kind of beat up and not performing that well. I won't be installing them for a while anyway i am just trying to get a few ideas as to some decent subs. All my friends have recommended are either the MTX 7500s or JL 12w3s. I don't really see myself as someone hard to please since my old subs are some Sony Xplod P5s and i thought they sounded/hit pretty good but all i hear is people talk about them being crap.
