Alright...so i have a dakota which i just picked up a 318(w/ <10k) to do a swap. And while i have on a stand im gonna clean it up and make it shiny.....the internals are gorgeous and clean all im gonna do is run some diesel through to make sure any. Dust is out. "Bore' the bolt holes....question is what is best way to clean the holes/threads where spark plugs go?
Anyone have pointers for popping the tie rods out of 98you dakota with 150k miles?
And heres where i need info: right now its geared at 3.55 i have v6 ....im thinking of replacing rear end to a 3.21 or 2.71. I want decent (20+) mpg but i dont wanna lose all the power....ild still like to be able to tow car if i have to. Now going to 318sound i doubt ild really notice much power lose going to 3.21 but how about to 2.71?
