ok so i am currently not a msp owner but my cousin is and i really enjoy his car. right now im just window shopping basiclly to see what kind of car i want to buy. but more to the piont. what are if any differences between the msp and the micka mazdaspeed i belive it is.. like the engines and performance features and things like that... all info is greatly appreaciated. thanks

ok well thier is a car in the for sale section thats an 03 mica black mazdaspeed thats what it is listed as... its the one where the spolier is lower and connetecd to the trunk in three spots compared to the 03.5 msp. now i could be wrong and they might be the same car with just different exterior parts. i see if i can get the picture up to show what im talking about.

Black mica is a shade of black. But the diferences are that mine is faster, LOL ok it's not...

other than the lack of foglights, evo style wing and different colors/interior accents the 2003 and 2003.5 mazdaspeed proteges are the same car in all respects.

Sorry guys but I don't like the 3.5 shift knob. Even though the 03 keeps falling apart I have grown to love it.

i actually like the 03.5 shift knob better. i tested both and 03 and 03.5 when i was looking at a couple of msp's when i was looking to get one. the only real reason that i like it better is because i like how the shift knob (and pedals) say mazdaspeed. i guess i am one of the guys that likes everything to be of the same manufacturers or a few manufacturers. the first car i had was a civic and it pretty much had everything skunk2 had to offer. kinda wish i still had it. oh well i love my msp more.
