Need some help with a rx-7

i just recently bought a 1984 rx-7 1.1l. Its been stored for along time runs good, but need everything flushed. i went and bought a cooling system flush kit ,gas tank flush kit and a engine flush kit for older engines, also a carb cleaning kit. but before i do all that, i want to make sure its okay to use this stuff on that type of motor.

any suggestions?

I have no idea, if it's anything like seafoaming for piston engines, I don't recommend it, you don't want to burn anything foreign in a rotary engine because the way it's burnt in a piston engine doesn't require testing to see if produced solid deposits, as they are sucked out of the piston combustion cycle. In the rotary cycle, deposits like to build on the apex seal and rotor faces if it isn't a clean burn, these buildups can eventually dislodge as chunks of solids that wedge in-between the rotor and housing then lock the negine up, otherwise known as carbon locking. Then you have one half-assed way to try and remedy thing, (put it in 1st gear at the top of a hill and let it roll backwards, which reverses the direction of rotor rotation, but this almost NEVER works. Carbon lock is like 99.99% you'll end up rebuilding the engine. so it's just safe to flush the fluids by removing any plugs or bungs, refilling (with new fluid), running the engine to put the new fluids through the full system, then drain all the new fluids (and discard and replace with MORE brand new fluid. Then make sure you wamr the engine up for a few minutes before you drive it everyday. and try to redline the engine (hit 7,500 RPM or so) every-now-and then to force the buildup that is created by burning oil out every now and then. This will keep your engine from carbon-locking. Also, thew negines burn oil, check your oil levels with every gas fillup, keep oil in a storage bin behind the seats at all times, and refill as neccesary.

Enjoy :)
