already done that to no avail! now i'm looking at changing the injectors...i don't know where to turn. thought about sooon as summer is over tearing down the motor and rebuilding it, or trying to fit a 1.8l in the car. just don't know how rough of a job it would be?could be a number of things. I'd start by replacing the plugs and plug wires first.

NOOOOOOOOOOO...just getting broke in, lolhmmm...i think 244k is a little early to be having issue like this
you try changing the coil pack and CAS? There's a few things to try before you go about rebuilding the engine 0.o. Also, when's the last time the timing belt was changed? And the tensioner? I ask because when I bought mine it had a hesitation, turned out to be a tooth off on the timing belt.
