Need some help/advice.

I am having a hard time finding Clifford in my area, but I did find Python. I am interested in purchasing this model Python 680XP 2-Way Security System with Responder Technology. The local rep assures me that Phyton uses the same model as the Clifford alarm. Does anyone have experience/comments about this system, any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

WOW, no one has this model? I am getting this installed next week and I would love to hear feedback from some owners before I do.

BTW I am getting this installed for 399 CDN. (canada)

Well...I'm not sure if there's any quality difference, but you can do some google research like I did, and find out that Directed Audio owns Viper, Clifford, and Python (among other large names in 12volt electronics.) Do some research on their page...it seems like they're similar products.

Visited the website and done some research prior to posting, I just wanted some input from owners of this system. The strange thing is that I found one dealer that sells the Viper system and he wanted 100 dollars more than the Python.

So this has me worried, why so much difference? Markup? Brand?
