I know this isn't the best pic, but the rim is 17x7.5 16lbs 5x114 +42offset and best of all. $528 for the set of 4. So what do you guys think......

They are called Nippon Lightstar

not too fond of em if they float your boat though why dont you move up to 18s? i really like the rims in your sigs what are those?

Thanks for the quick response. The reason why I'm not really concerned with 18's is due to the lack of tires to choose from and I just feel they're a little to large for me. You're also stuck with Parada Spec2's for rubber which are fine, but they're extremely loud. The only reason I was considering the Lightstars is because of their cost $528 shipped, they'd also let me stick with the Flat Black on Yellow MP3 scheme. The wheels in my Sig are the Black Racing Pro N1's, they're available in Bronze, Silver, and Flat Black. They'd cost me $866 including CA tax, but no rubber. I'm too impatient to wait and save up the loot for the Black Racing Pro's, so the Lightstars would be a cheap, temporary fix.

I like them...nice lookin wheel...but I don't know anything about the outfit that makes them.....so as far as quality....that is a mystery.

Sweet! I wouldn't rock the black, but SWEET! Do they come in silver? Will they BEND easily? do they have a higher offset that 42????

I've never heard of Sparco NT-R's before and I've unfortunatly accepted the fact that I can't afford the real rims I want to buy :( . So, for now, knock offs will have to do. The Black Racings are knock offs of Advan RG's too. As for other offsets being available, I have no clue. From what I know of Nippon as a company, I don't think the rims are weak. They should hold up just as good as any Rota. Anyhow, thanks for all the responses, good or bad. As much as I'd like to say that I don't care about what other people think. I'd hate to put my effort and time into my car or anything for that matter and not see anyone appreciate what I've done.

APEXi, don't get me wrong, I like the style but I just wanted you to know that they are not an original wheels, in case that was important to you. Personally, I'd much rather buy the Black Racing Pro N1s, at least they are make in japan and having seen them in person, I can tell you that the finish on them is awesome...the black and bronze ones have that anodised crinkle finish on em just like the bronze Volk TE-37s. Nippon Racing is a cheap wheel manufacturer from taiwan or china....just my two cents...

I've seen the Black Racing's in person a few times now and I must admit, the bronze is dead on with Volk Bronze TE-37. I guess I should just wait till money makes itself available to me. Thanks for the replies guys
