So my tires are almost to the point of balding, so I will need new rubbers pretty soon. So I got to thinking getting new wheels while I'm at it. I'm looking around at different wheels, but Rota's are the only ones that can meet my budget this time.

I just wanted to get some opinions on the Rota Grids 17 x 7.5s. I like the style of it. I was wondering if anyone had any pics on their ride, or if anyone has an idea of the weight.

Oh and the reason I'm going for the 17s is for weight and more rubber between the pavement and the wheels.

Thanks!

I had to mod the hub bore on my 18x8.5 Rota P1's. I paid $25 per wheel extra to have them opened up to 67mm. No rubbing on stock suspension with 235/40R18 tires.

Yeah shoulda mentioned that. Offset was 48. Try to stay as close to stock offset as possible to prevent worsening torque steer, tramlining, and drift/pull.

I wasn't aware that the offset would cause that big of a difference. Why is that?
