Need hep with installation of speakers

i have decided to buy a new set of speakers for my Mazda3s

i'm also going to buy reference 6812cf speakers. 6by 8

my question is what tools do i need
the second thing is how should i go about doing it
i intend to start with the front speakers
if there is any website that shows how to do it please direct me thanks

oh s***... there was a link to a guy who did it on car domain... do a search here and just search the mazda 3 section for speaker install.... i will try and dig up the link for you... if you have any question ask, i have done mine and a few others have done theres as well... are you running an amp? if not you are going to have to cut the connector off of the current set up... as you are using 6x8 i am not sure but you may have to cut the piece on the door panel (the part you pull off to access the speaker) that mates to the stock one, i put in round speakers so i had to cut that out, with a bigger oval you may be all right... and don't forget to take the water sheild off the old speakers and put it on your new ones...

save some money and use sound deadening.... trust me... with just sound deadening on the stock speakers it was so much better....
