need help with my head build !

right now im building the cylinder head for my 94 probe with the FS motor... im about to buy the supertech springs and titanium retainers from cr0ss0veraut dotcom (its on page 3 of parts for the probe) and im about to order new valves too.. should i order the valves with a chrome plated stem or just normal valves ? looking for a mild performance boost as im doing a mild pnp, ze intake cam and the mods listed above... also i can get a really good deal on SR adjustable cam gears... would they be of any benefit on an n/a ? i plan to go standalone soon with a haltec ek9... just trying not to waste money on things i might not need

i'm doing headwork too but I'm using eibach evs valve springs stock valves,stock retainers, fel-pro permatorque gaskets...ur getting a 5 angl or 3 angle? cus otherwise why get new valves? I have a fs-ze direct from japan, so stock cams for now...I'm getting a stage 2 done BTW...

The Supertech valves are 1mm oversize, better flow than stock valves.

alright so i guess ill keep the stock valves and get the superech springs and retainers.. new springs wouldnt cause an idle issue or anything with a stock ecu would it ?

no it wont, the reason i went with the eibach was cus the eibach sport springs are recommended to be run on stock retainers. I know supertech stuff is top notch though...

Eibach springs are also top notch, one of the best, if not the best, spring makers in the world. The Eibach EVS 25100.116 specs are almost identical to the Supertech single spring setup and are considerably less expensive and work with the stock retainers.

alright looks like eibach it is ! ill put the 200.00 ill have left over towards machine work ! guy on the probe forums gave me an awesome quote to port and polish my TB/head and intake manifold !

yup the eibach 25100 spring is about 9 bucks a piece x 16=144, there is an ebay store selling it for 9.22 or best offer, he accepts 9 bucks a piece...
