Hey u need to replace battery u have a positive terminal post cracked at base causing acid to leak ,no matter what u do it will still corrod ,only option for u is to replace battery ,& when u r fitting your terminals onto battery do not beat on ,both should just fit with ease .try buying a optima brand battery if u can ,expensive but worth the money ,comes with 3 year free replacment warranty ,i have not bought a battery now for the last 6 years ,try it .

I actually replaced the battery about 3 weeks ago. So far so good, no corrosion and no interference.
When I took the old battery out there was some leakage down the side of the battery by the positive terminal.
Really appreciate all the advice and suggestions. Thanks guys!
