Need Help Repair Side Panel

Hi everyone!

I just picked up an '10 Sport and have a long, bike induced dent on the passenger side panel above the sliding door track. It's not super bad but enough so that it interferes with the sliding door opening as smoothly as it should.

I'm sure I'm just not using the right terminology, but what is that panel called and is there a DIY to remove it?

I've tried various combinations of the following:

exterior side panel
side panel above track
exterior sliding door panel
rear quarter panel

Thanks in advance!

Above is a download link from an old post here that are the factory workshop manuals for the Mazda5. They are not 100% complete, but if you look at section WM_09-16, there is a basic description of removing this panel (called the "Center Guide Rail Cover"). The panel is held on with nuts on the inside of the body cavity, that you access by removing interior trim panels (and 3rd row seat).

Thank you so much. hopefully this post will help someone in the future not knowing the right terminology.

Appreciate the share of the manual as well. all the old links i found weren't working.
