need help getting to know my P5

Friggin genious! I must have played with mine for hours trying to get it to sit right in there. I have about eleventy ty-wraps holding it in so it doesn't hit the MBC but in all my hours of cursing Ractive and their cheap manufacturing ways I never once thought about cutting a little off the pipe.

im actually going to replace the intake with a proper cold air.
although lots of thigns do, it looks like a relativly simple install. that right? and any suggestions?

Word on the street is injen makes the best one for the P5 but it is also a costly mod. My suggestion to you would be just keep the ractive intake since it serves it's purpose quite well and use your 300-400 bux you would have spent on an Injen and buy a Racing Beat Catback.

sorry but in terms of sheer build quality injen makes the shittiest intake for this car. above and by far the best intake is the K&N Typhoon. you have see one to believe it. If you are going to spend the money and want to spend a good amount, go for broke and go with the Typhoon. If all you want is sheer function then keep the Ractive.

having sold Protege parts for a while (RIP protege garage) I saw a bunch of different parts come through our doors and the Typhoon consistently impressed me.

Yeah K & N makes the best product hands down, I just know most people like the injen for some reason. Its over priced IMO and so is the AEM. The only advantage to those 2 are the fitiment and the injen is a true CAI intake.
